Michael Mejias Leach, age 63, of Eaton, OH passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. He was born July 22, 1962 to the late William and Carolyn (Walker) Leach.
Mike was a 1981 graduate of Jackson High School where he excelled in cross country; he earned his Associate in Business from Rio Grande College; and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from University of Phoenix. He was a Boy Scout Leader and Committee Chairman for Troop #78 in Eaton, OH for over 20 years with his proudest moment seeing his son Ben earn his Eagle Scout; he enjoyed coaching youth soccer and basketball; and currently worked in cyber security for the Fortra Company.
Mike is survived by his wife of 42 years, Suzanne Leach; son Ben Leach; brother Rick “Rocky” (Lori) Leach; sisters Sherri (Mike) Wyatt and Stephanie (Todd) Lay; sister-in-law Kathy (Mark) Carlisle; brother-in-law Tim (Paula) Forshey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 1:00 pm until time of funeral services at 3:00 pm at Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Boy Scouts Troop #78. Online condolences and other remembrances may be sent to the family by visiting www.gardfuneralhome.com.
