Larry Johnston Obituary
WEST ALEXANDRIA — Larry Denman Johnston, 79, of West Alexandria, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026.
He was born Feb. 10, 1947, in Dayton, to the late John and Virginia Johnston. Larry served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart for his bravery.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joan (Hampton) Johnston; daughters LaChelle Goulette and RaLynn Ison; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. at Fairmount Cemetery, 7371 Camden Road, Camden.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry's honor to a veteran's organization of the donor's choice.
