Robert J. Baszkiewicz, 77 of Quincy, MA passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by love on March 14, 2026.

Born September 7th, 1948, in Boston, Bob was the beloved son of the late Nancy (Masciulli)) & Edward Baszkiewicz. Survived by his devoted wife of 52 years Janice (Stack) Baszkiewicz, daughters Renee O’Toole and her husband Sean of Quincy and Laura Ricciardelli and her husband Mark of Reading. Bob was a devoted Grandpa to his six adoring grandchildren: Olivia, Avery, Patrick, Cailyn, Isabella & Arianna, cherished brother of Paul and his wife Patty Baszkiewicz of Quincy & Edward and his wife Joanne Baszkiewicz of South Boston. Loving brother-in-law to Jay and Kathy Stack of South Boston, Eileen Stack of Braintree and the late Richard and Diane Stack. Beloved cousin of John Cegile and his wife Kathy. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.

Bob grew up in South Boston and later settled and raised his family in Quincy. He graduated from Christopher Columbus High School before continuing his education at Boston State College. Bob spent his career working in insurance, most notably at Prudential & New England Life Insurance. He loved baseball, almost never missing watching his Red Sox and spent many years coaching Quincy Rotary Baseball. Bob also dedicated many years volunteering on the Board of Directors for Amego, Inc., supporting people with autism. Bob loved golf and spent much time on the course with his closest friends and brother, Paul. Taking walks and riding his bike were two of his favorite pastimes, often on Wollaston Beach. Bob enjoyed many winters on Siesta Key Beach, FL and summers in South Yarmouth, MA always surrounded by good friends and happiness. He had a deep love for Cape Cod, the ocean and beaches. His retirement was spent doing the things he loved, enjoying life and making those around him laugh, often with a glass of wine and a cigar in hand. He will be deeply missed by everyone in his life.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during visiting hours on Sunday March 22nd, from 2-6PM at Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, Quincy.
