Robert Beckerle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Shook Funeral Home, Inc. - Clifton on Nov. 17, 2022.
Robert McLean Beckerle (Rob)
Rob Beckerle, 42, husband of Amanda Beckerle (nee LaForgia) passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022.
In addition to his beloved wife of 7 years, Rob leaves behind their three children, Robert "RJ" (5), and their twins Joey and Julia (2). His children were his world and he loved them more than life itself.
Rob was the only son of his devoted mother, Evelyn M. Beckerle and his late father, Robert J. Beckerle of Pearl River, NY. Rob also leaves behind his loving mother-in-law, Terry Ann Kunz, Terry's mother, Mary Theresa Kunz, and his adoring sister-in-law Kelly Ann LaForgia. He was predeceased by his father-in-law Keith LaForgia. He is also survived by many friends and family who will miss him dearly.
Rob graduated from St. Margaret's School in Pearl River, NY, and Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, NJ. He earned a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a Master's degree in construction management from Manhattan College, NY. In his youth Rob was an avid down hill skier and a member of the Green Mountain Racing School in Sugar Bush, VT. Rob was a construction superintendent for Ferriera Construction in Branchburg, NJ.
Of all the things that Rob enjoyed spending time with his wife and 3 children, his favorite was what Rob lovingly called "Adventurous Sunday". They would spend the day exploring many new places, Rob also loved the NY Jets and the NY Yankees.
Before they had children, he coached for the North Arlington Junior Football League. He also loved volunteering at Nightmare on River Road in New Milford.
Rob was known by many for his quick and witty sense of humor and made everyone laugh when they were around him. He will forever be known as a very selfless and caring person who always put others before himself.
