Robert Bennett Obituary
Robert William Bennett age 68 of Chisholm passed away Thursday, September
14, 2023, at Essentia – St. Mary’s in Duluth. He was born July 17, 1955 at the
Harlem Hospital in New York City, NY to Robert and Emelia (Galloway) Bennett.
Robert enlisted in the US Navy and assisted with the Vietnam evacuation. He
resided in New York until 1996 and then lived in Las Vegas before moving to
Chisholm. He was employed at the Vaughn-Steffensrud Elementary School in
Chisholm. In his free time Robert enjoyed watching sports and spending time with
family. He is survived by his son, Miles, his son’s grandmother, Deborah Modich
and dog, Max. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Emelia.
Services will be held in the spring.
