Mr. Robert Paul Benoit

Robert Paul Benoit, 78, husband of Lauren Louise Cooke Benoit, of Westminster, passed away, Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca, SC.
A native of Worcester, MA, Mr. Benoit was the son of the late Asa Leo Benoit and Adele Elizabeth McKeown Benoit. He retired from the former Alachua General Hospital in Gainesville, FL in the IT Department. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Army Security Agency during the Vietnam War. Mr. Benoit received two Vietnam Service Medals, a National Defense Service Medal, a Vietnam Campaign Medal and a Good Conduct Medal. He was a DAV member and a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Seneca, SC.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Benoit is survived by many nieces and nephews; and a goddaughter: Katherine Baker of Holden, MA.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Benoit is preceded in death by his brother: Richard Benoit.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veteran's Cemetery in Anderson, SC.
