Robert Nicholas "Bib" Bibbo

Of Westford, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, December 19, 2025, at Lowell General Hospital, following a brief illness. He was 79 years old.

Born on January 10, 1946, in Waltham, Bob was the beloved son of the late Francis Bibbo and Alice (Lupo) Bibbo. He was raised in Waltham and attended Saint Charles High School. Bob lived in Waltham for most of his life, where he and his wife raised their family, before moving to Leominster for 10 years. He has resided with his daughter in Westford for the past nine years.

Bob was self-employed throughout his life in the painting and landscaping industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic and pride in his craft. He was a longtime member of the Sons of Italy, Dante Alighieri Lodge in Waltham, as well as the Norwood Pigeon Club. Homing and racing pigeons were a true passion of Bob's, and he devoted many years to the hobby. He also enjoyed fishing and golfing.

Above all else, Bob was a devoted family man. There was nothing more important to him than his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He cherished every moment spent together, whether it was a holiday, special occasion, or simply time shared as a family.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Trylonne (Manchester) Bibbo; his loving children, Kristen (Bibbo) Faia and her husband Michael of Westford, and Waltham Police Officer Douglas Bibbo and his wife Lauren (LaCava) Bibbo of Waltham; his cherished grandchildren, Douglas Robert Bibbo, Brooke Marilyn Bibbo, Michael Robert Faia, Kristin Marie Giallousis, Michelle Angela Whynot, Michaela Gabrielle DiNardo, Micayla Josephine Rutledge, Anabel Marie Rutledge, and Christopher James Rutledge; his treasured great-grandchildren, Sophia Giallousis, Stefano Giallousis, Ayla Whynot, Leah Whynot, and Giuseppe DiNardo; and his dear his sisters, Theresa Desmond and Bernadette Ledger. Bob is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends, who will all miss him dearly.

In addition to his parents Francis and Alice, Bob was predeceased by his dear siblings Francis Bibbo and Mary Tuttle.

Those who wish to pay their respects to Robert and his family can do so in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on TUESDAY afternoon December 30th from 1pm until 4pm followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Robert's Life at 4:00 pm.
