Robert Biber Obituary

Robert (Bob) Biber, formerly of Warren and Barrington, RI, passed away peacefully at home in Pennsylvania on Sunday, July 27, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen (O'Connor) and Robert Biber of Warren, RI, his sisters Ann Biber and Mary (Biber) Lanoue, and his cousin, Michael Leo O'Connor of State College, PA.



Following graduation from Warren High School, Bob attended Bryant College while working at Kliestone Rubber Company. He later joined the Coast Guard Reserve. Upon completing his service, Bob worked for the company formerly known as the Providence Gas Company. He was Manager of Customer Relations, and later Training Manager, and Director of Human Relations. Following early retirement in 2001, Bob and his wife moved to Bellefonte Pennsylvania, where they lived for fourteen years before joining friends in 2016 at Westminster Woods retirement community in Huntingdon, PA.



In addition to his wife, Virginia (Callanan) of Huntingdon, PA, Bob is survived by; daughter Maureen (Biber) Niklaus and husband Craig Niklaus (PA); their children, Ryan Niklaus and fiancé, Brittany Mogollon; Sarah Niklaus, and Kathryn Niklaus; his daughter Kristen Biber and her husband Jim McNally (NH) and their son, Jackson.
