Robert A. Bisignani

1927 - 2026

Robert A. Bisignani, 98, of Greensburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026. He was born on Sept. 28, 1927, in Greensburg, the second son of the late Antonio and Anita del Corona Bisignani. Robert was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. He graduated from Greensburg Salem High School, class of 1945, and was a starting tackle on the football team. After high school, he continued to work for the U.S. Post Office for 40 years, and he served in the U.S. Navy. In 1950 he married Catherine Mikan, the love of his life. Then, in 1962, he graduated from Robert Morris University with a certificate in accounting, later becoming a CPA. Robert and Catherine joined together as business partners in their own accounting practice. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Catherine; and his siblings, Mario, Camilo, Carlo, and Mary Jane. Robert is survived by his three children, Mary Anne Tumilty (James) of North Huntingdon, and Anita Gallagher and Robert J. Bisignani, both of Greensburg; along with three grandchildren, Kelly, J.P., and Kevin; and seven great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends of Robert will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, at CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. Prayers of transfer will be said at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral.
