Robert "Brian" Blanks

Robert “Brian” Blanks, 30, of Bladenboro passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, while at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC after a long battle of kidney disease. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Donald Blanks, maternal grandparents Robert and Nadine Dowless, great paternal grandmother Wilma Dial, and aunt, Carolyn Blanks.

Brian loved his family and his fur babies, Roscoe and Roxy Marie. He was always joking around, especially when it came to picking on his beloved fiancé, Durayea. He enjoyed a good Bonfire, going fishing, attending tractor pulls, and drag races. Although he never owned a motorcycle, he was fascinated with Harley Davidson. His sense of humor and ability to bring a smile to everyone will live on in the hearts of all those that know and love him.

Left to cherish his memory are his father, David Blanks of Red Springs, mother Cindy Guyton (John) of Elizabethtown, fiancé Durayea McKay of Bladenboro, and paternal grandmother, Mary Dial (Beanie).

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 3 pm at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Reverend Danny Lewis and Reverend Beanie Dial officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
