Robert “Bob” Anthony, of Farmington, entered eternal rest on February 18, 2026, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, at the age of 73. He was born on October 27, 1952, in Nurnberg, Bavaria, Germany, to the late Stan and Roswitha (König) Anthony.
Bob is survived by his wife, Laurie Anthony; his children, Jon Anthony, Shirley Frakes, Dylan Gaige, and Connor Gaige; his grandchildren, Taylor Anthony, Tucker Anthony, Tatum Anthony, Blaine Vaughn, and Kayla Williams; his siblings, Beatrice Holzhay, Alexander Schott, Thomas Anthony, Maria Antonwitsch, Charles Anthony, and Michael Anthony; and his beloved canine companions, Bodie, Jersey, Bean, and Drac. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Anthony, and his siblings, Wolf König and Monica Vance.
Bob proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Following his service, he worked for more than 25 years as a finance manager for Blackwell Motors and later for several other car dealerships in the St. Louis area. He also worked as a pipefitter for St. Louis Ship.
In his free time, Bob enjoyed gaming on his computer, taking pride in his yardwork, and traveling to new places. He cherished time spent with his family and friends and found great joy in the companionship of his dogs.
