Robert William “Bob” Emick
A Mass of Christian Burial for lifelong Lamar resident Robert William Emick, affectionately known to his family and friends as Bob will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, March 03, 2026 at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A rosary service will be held at 6:00PM on Monday, March 02, 2026 at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Deacon Allan Medina reciting. A rite of committal with Full Military Honors will follow at the Little Cedars Cemetery on the Emick Family Ranch.
Visitation for Bob will be held from 1:00PM until 4:00PM on Monday, March 02, 2026 at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Bob was born on February 06, 1931 at Lamar, Colorado to Anthony and Laura (Hasser) Emick and passed away on February 24, 2026 at his home with his family by his side at the age of 95.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Geneva Mosher, Evelyn Schultheis, Lorraine Gittings, Tony Emick, Mary Emick, Helen Conley, Virginia Schmitt, Peggy Oswald and Patsy Winsor. He is also preceded in death by his son-in-law Todd Even, grandson Vincent Emick and great-granddaughter Presley Raye Emick.
Bob is survived by his wife Helen Emick of the family ranch home in Lamar, CO, brother Jim (Dee) Emick and brother-in-law Jerry Oswald. His children are Steven (Lisa) Emick, Donald (Tana) Emick, David (Donna) Emick, Michael Emick, Greg (Julie Hollingsworth) Emick, Tim (Mindy) Emick, Tammy (Buck Davis) Even and Kenneth (Kelly) Emick. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Southeast Development Services either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
