Robert L. "Bob" Gipe went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

He was born in Dauphin County, PA on November 14, 1944 to the late Marvin A. Gipe, Sr. and Jennie Hocker Gipe. Bob attended Annville High School.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra "Sandy" (Stoudt) Gipe of 52 years. They married on July 16, 1972.

Bob received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army with an SP4 status. He served proudly in the Vietnam War. He retired from H.B. Reese Candy and worked at the Hershey Gardens after retirement for several years. Bob's hobbies included gardening, antiques and coin collecting. He loved animals and spent many years feeding and watching birds.

He adored his children, Rebecca, wife of Derek Bayarri, Coral Springs, FL; Daniel, husband of Erica (Seibert), Fredericksburg, PA, and Rhonda, wife of Bryan Wynn, Chesterfield, VA. He is survived by his precious grandchildren, Madison, Ashley and Ian Wynn, Nathaniel and Coleen Gipe, and Isabella and Alessandra Bayarri. He leaves behind his brother Steven Gipe and wife Melody. He was predeceased by siblings Judy Gipe, Phyllis Gipe, and Marvin "Pete" Gipe, Jr.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 14, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, with a viewing an hour before the service. A reception will be held after the graveside service at Dutch-Way Family Restaurant, Myerstown. Flowers accepted or donations in Bob's memory may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Rd., Myerstown, PA 17067.
