I was privileged to be a a Seymour school board member with Bob as superintendent. He was a mentor, fiscal responsible with the tax payers monies and became a good friend and colleague.

I was lucky to get to know Mr. Mahan while working at autumn trace. He was gracious & kind, hated to ask for anything & would thank you profusely for the littlest of help. I will miss his wit and bop walk about the hallway.

My family and I had the pleasure of living across the street from Mr. Mahan for the past few years. He was always such a joy to talk with. He lit up watching our three wild boys play Wiffle ball or spray each other with the water hose out front. He always told me they brought life to the neighborhood and to never worry if we were bothering them, he enjoyed the laughter. We have missed his presence over here on Manor, but are rejoicing in knowing that he is reunited with his Ann.
Thinking of all of those who loved him.

Your dear father lived a remarkable and full life-one marked by his dedication as an educator and the profound impact he made on so many lives.
What stands out most is how deeply he was loved, especially by you and Marilyn his beloved daughters. The love and admiration you both had for him speak volumes about the kind of father he was: wise, kind, and full of heart.
May you find comfort in the beautiful memories you shared and the legacy he leaves behind in all who knew him. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this time of loss.
With heartfelt sympathy,
The Bang Family
