Robert "Bob" Myers Obituary
Robert “Bob” Myers, age 87, a resident of Portland, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at IU Health Jay in Portland.
Bob was born May 28, 1938, in Portland, Indiana, the son of Clarence and Hazel (Harden) Myers. He worked as a salesman for Rex Air Corporation for many years and enjoyed training Tennessee Walking Horses. He attended Hickory Grove Church of the Brethren. Bob married Karen Hudson in 1974.

His children: Jeff Myers (wife Ellen) – Hartford City, Indiana
Lisa Flueckiger – Bluffton, Indiana
Mark Myers (wife Teresa) – Dunkirk, Indiana
Wendy Jo Grasse (husband David) – Estero, Florida
Greg Myers – Bluffton, Indiana
Roxann Tinkham (husband Mark) – Greenville, Ohio
His siblings: Florence Hammil – Muncie, Indiana
Rosella Bauman – Portland, Indiana
Donnie Myers (wife Marilyn) – Geneva, Indiana
Jim Myers (wife Mary) – Pennville, Indiana
13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by two sons Joseph Myers and Rick Myers.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed towards Jay County Humane Society.
