Robert A. Peterson (Bob), 82, of Mineral Wells, Texas passed peacefully on August 11, 2025. He was born on May 31, 1943 in Spring Valley, IL and married Ardene Peterson on April 3, 2004 in Granville, IL.
Bob was a meat cutter by trade, working in Rockford, IL and Granville, IL. Anyone who knew Bob knew how much he loved to golf and watch any type of sporting event.
Bob is survived by his wife, Ardene; son, Ryan Peterson (Kelly) of Pike Road, AL; daughter, Heather Peterson of Franklin, TN; step-daughter, Coral Albers of Mineral Wells, TX; five grandchildren, Kandace Peterson of Middleton, OH, Logan Peterson of Knoxville, TN, Ava Peterson of Pike Road, AL, Jacob Albers (Theresa) of Clovis, NM and Delaney Clarke (Chris) of Mineral Wells, TX; and many great-grandchildren.
Cremation rights have been served, no formal service will be held.
While friends' generosity is greatly appreciated, the family kindly requests no gifts or donations be sent.
