Robert “Bob” John Pilles, age 70, of Logansport, passed away Thursday Nov. 21, 2024, in his home.
Born November 11, 1954, in Alsip, IL to the late John and Audrey (Tibbetts) Pilles.
Bob retired as a shift supervisor at Indiana Packers and had also worked at the Logansport State Hospital. He was a proud U.S. Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Harold L. Richards High School.
Survivors include two daughters, Amanda (Kurk) Cullum, Logansport; GraceAnn Pilles, Logansport; one son, Jonathan (Brooke) Pilles, Toledo, OH; four sisters, Jeanette (Kenneth) Fuhri, IL; Christine Rasmussen, IL; Barbara Pilles, IL; Mary (David) Bryant, CA; two brothers, John (Caryn) Pilles, IL; Tom Pilles, IL; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and one great nephew.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Claire Maroney.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday November 29, 2024, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Kelly Spencer officiating. Full military rite will be provided by the Cass County Honor Guard.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of services on Friday.
