Robert R. “Bobby” Hoffa Jr., age 67, died suddenly as a passenger in an automobile accident on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 in the Town of Leola, Adams County.
He was born June 4, 1957 in Berlin, the son of Robert R. and Betty J. (Bruneske) Hoffa Sr. He was a 1975 graduate of Adams-Friendship High School. After graduation, he continued to work on the family homestead Triple H Farms. Bobby was a hard worker, one of his favorite quotes was “I got no time”. Bobby loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, gardening, woodworking and of course farming. He played softball on a farm team for fun at the annual Coloma Chicken Chew. He also played on a pool league. Bobby will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by two sons, James R. (Jaclyn) Hoffa, Coloma and Scott M. Hoffa, Hancock; five grandchildren: Weston, Nadia, Sidney, Nickolas and Calvin Hoffa; three sisters, Marsha (Randy) Thomson, Pequot Lakes, MN, Jo-Ann (Gary) Chilewski, Coloma, Kathy (Jeff) Lehman, Fifield; one brother, Daniel (Kim) Hoffa, Coloma. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents.
