Robert Kendall “Ken” Boggs, age 77, of Burlington passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at his home. Ken was born on July 19, 1948 to Edward “Eddie” and Peppy Terrell Boggs.
He was a member of Friendship Church. Ken worked for White Furniture for ten years, then worked at Honda Power Equipment for 28 years before retiring. He loved his breakfast meetings with the River Rats, playing golf and Duke basketball. Ken was a loving and devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather who truly enjoyed spending time with his family.
Ken is survived by his daughters, Christy Ebey (Ric), Shannon Miller (Chris) and Emily Habla; six grandchildren, Megan Billings (fiancé Derrick Absher), Dalton Miller, Briana Miller (fiancé Austin Foster), Eden Habla, Marley Habla and Paxton Swanzey; a great granddaughter, Maelee Absher; sister, Patsy Large and brothers, Jimmy Boggs (Stephanie) and Lee Boggs (Beth).
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, January 2, 2026 at Friendship Church by Pastor Mike Kelly. The family will receive friends following the service.
