Robert J. Bonetti

Robert Joseph "Bob" Bonetti, 84, of Granby, passed away peacefully at West Haven VA Medical Center on February 25, 2026. Born in Hartford on June 1, 1941, the son of the late Joseph N. and Anne (Gaugler) Bonetti. Bob was a 1959 graduate of AI Prince Tech High School in Hartford.

Upon graduation Bob enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served his country while stationed in Greenland.

Bob had a long and successful career as an electrical contractor. He owned and operated United Electrical Services for more than 30 years.

Bob's greatest joy was his family. It was the most important aspect of his life. The values he and Helen instilled in each of them will live long into the future. They were loved and adored.

Bob is survived by his children, Michael Bonetti and his wife Dina of Hebron, Dallas Olin and her husband Dan of East Granby and Joseph Bonetti and his daughter-in-law Heidi of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Nicholas Bonetti and his wife Avalon of Austin, TX, Daniel Olin of Simsbury, Hunter Olin of Simsbury, Eavan Taylor of Fort Collins, CO, Jack Bonetti of Hebron, and Petty Officer 2nd Class US Navy Jordan Bonetti of Norfolk, VA; his great-grandson, Brock Bonetti of Austin, TX; his sisters, Joan Gordon, Barbara Graham and Katherine Koloski.

He was predeceased by his parents and the love of his life, Helen.

Services for Robert J. Bonetti will be private and at the convenience of the family.
