Robert H. "Bob" Borr, Jr., 73, of Fern Park, Florida, passed away peacefully in his home on August 27, 2025.
Born in Benton Harbor, Michigan, on February 16, 1952, Bob was raised in Battle Creek, where he achieved Eagle Scout at age 14, and graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1970. He earned an Associate's Degree in Business from Central Michigan, and attended Michigan State.
In 1981, Bob moved to Florida, where he would build a successful career as a general contractor and also a beautiful life with his wife, Cindy.
The two met in 1983 and married a year later in 1984. That same year, Bob founded Borr Builders, a family business that became a reflection of his dedication, work ethic, and craftsmanship.
Bob was a devoted husband, father, brother, and uncle.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Cindy Borr; their three sons, Robert W. Borr (and wife Crissy Borr), Eric Borr, and Isaac A. Borr; his sister Melissa McCue; seven nephews, three nieces, six great-nieces, and one great-nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert H. Borr, Sr. and Charlotte Borr, and his sisters, Jane Ogawa and Paula Borr.
Bob will be remembered for his unwavering sense of humor, his love for family and friends, and his tremendous strength throughout life.
His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
