Robert "Bob" Brabbs

Mr. Robert "Bob" Brabbs, age 82, passed away on June 24, 2023. Robert was born in Oskaloosa, IA to David Brabbs and Sylvia Brabbs.
After graduating with his master's degree, Robert began his long, successful career with US Gypsum. That career took him to Chicago where he lived many years. He enjoyed a rich social life of friends and colleagues. He was a very active member of the Naperville United Methodist Church, volunteering and singing in the choir.
While visiting his family in Ohio, Robert met the love of his life, Helen Maureen Medcalf. They married in 1986 and moved to Fairfield, Ohio where they lived for nearly 30 years. Robert was once again very active in his new church, Lindenwald Methodist. He gave his time and talents for church projects and again lent his beautiful voice to the choir. He and Maureen also traveled on mission trips to the American Southwest.
"Uncle Bob" was a regular at family gatherings and much loved by his 10 nieces and nephews and 10 great-nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed.
Robert is survived by Maureen Brabbs (Wife), Ann Brabbs (Sister-in-law), and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by David Brabbs (Father), Sylvia Brabbs (Mother), William Brabbs (Brother).
Memorial Service for Bob Brabbs will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 6:30 at Lindenwald Methodist Church, 3501 Pleasant Ave, Hamilton, OH 45015.
