Robert F. Breckel

I was a friend and fellow classmate of Bob in school, and we were in the Civil Air Patrol. As we grew older, he joined the US Air Force. As with many friends, I lost track of him. I joined the Army when I was 21, and. seldom returned to the Adrian area. A few times I did return, and on occasion ran into Bob. We would briefly visit. I am sad that he has passed. When an old friend dies, even if you have not been very close for years, it leaves a vacancy in life. I will never run into him again.
