Robert Cecil Brim Jr.

Robert Cecil Brim died peacefully in his sleep on August 24, 2024. He was born to Robert Cecil Brim, Sr. and Ruth May Hurst Brim on September 8, 1926, in Republic, Missouri.
After growing up in Republic, he attended Drury college in Springfield, Missouri. During WWII he served in the navy and then attended dental school in Kansas City, Missouri. Upon graduation, he practiced dentistry in Wichita, Kansas for over forty years and served several terms as the president of the Wichita Dental Society.
A man of many interests and talents, he loved learning and a challenge. He became a proficient pilot but was still pursuing the art of golf into his late eighties. Together with his wife, Marie, they built, furnished, landscaped, and sold many residential homes. Together they developed a subdivision near Santa Fe Lake close to Wichita, Kansas.
He enjoyed a blessed, beautiful, and long life. He always had a strong will to thrive, do his best and succeed.
But above all else, he loved his family and was proud of his ability to provide for his wife and three daughters.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife of over seventy years, Marjorie Marie Burk Brim, on June 14, 2020.
Robert's survivors include his three daughters: Christina Marie Logsdon, Melissa Gayle Hamilton, and Melanie Ruth Doherty and their spouses: Mike Logsdon, and Steve Doherty; grandchildren: Bevin Hamilton, Griffin Hamilton, Taylor Logsdon and wife Sarah Meserve, Alex Doherty, Rowan Hamilton, William Logsdon and wife Kacee, Neal Doherty, and Ryan Doherty; great grandchildren Harrison Logsdon, Elswyth Garcia, and Henry Logsdon; younger brother, John Brim, MD and wife Gloria.
