Robert Brophy, Jr. 59, Dickson City, died on Wednesday, in Jefferson Lansdale Hospital.
Born November 19, 1965 in Rahway, NJ he was the son of Barbara (Tuleya) Brophy, Dickson City, and the late Robert Brophy, Sr.
A resident of Dickson City and formerly of Rahway NJ, he was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School, NJ and was trained as a welder at Perth Amboy Vocational School, NJ. Prior to moving to Dickson City, Bob worked as a welder in NJ. After moving to Dickson City, he had been employed at Proctor and Gamble, Mehoopany.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two nephews, Michael Fahy and wife Julia, Tunkhannock, and Ryan Fahey, Monroe, NJ, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by a sister Denise Fahy.
The funeral will be Monday at 11am at the Church of St Gregory, 330 N. Abington Road, Clarks Green. Interment, St. Michael the Archangel, Olyphant. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10-10:45am at the church prior to Mass.
