Bay City, Michigan
Bob was born March 18, 1952, the son of Kenneth & Bernice Broucek, who predeceased him. He was a graduate of Midland High School, where he was a member of the swim team.
On May 5, 1973, he married Jean Krik, and they had 51 years together.
Bob is survived by his wife, their son Brian (Rebecca) Broucek; 2 brothers-William G. and James S. (Brenda) Broucek; brother and sister-in-law Lewis & Linda Kirk; 4 granddaughters-Sophie Broucek, Lily Kaiser, Alyson Woods and Kira Woods; 2 nieces-Kimberly (Rob) Swartz, Andrea (Chris) Powell; 2 nephews- Michael & John Broucek; 2 great nieces-Cassandra & Camilla Swartz; 1 great nephew- Cooper Swartz.
Bob is also survived by several close friends; Butch & Jan Langley, Ernie & Mary Krygier; Tom Clare Ken Doan, Dick & Susan Bottomley; and 2 very special neighbors- AJ Michalski and Abby Nowak.
For 30 years, Bob owned and operated Housecalls Home Improvements doing work he loved-repair & renovation in the construction field.
The family enjoyed camping, and spent many spring vacations in their favorite place, Great Smokey Mountains National Park.
The family would like to thank the staff of Compassus Hospice for their care and support during Bob's illness, especially all the nurses who came into our home.
Cremation has taken place, no funeral service will be held.
