I would like to express my sympathy to Bob's family. Bob was a loved resident of our community known for his friendly smile, bocci playing, and the many jokes he told at community events. May we celebrate a life well lived.

A sailor from the greatest generation has passed away today. Bob, you are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy veteran. We all are grateful for your stepping up to the plate when your country needed you the most. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The USS Fargo is now on station preparing for your final departure. The honor guards are stationed and final volley has sounded. Taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation“s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate.

My Condolences to Bobs family... Bob was a wonderful neighbor who was very welcoming to my husband and I when we were new to the neighborhood. He would often call me for help on a crossword clue or to discuss the recent episode of Monk. He took a liking to our dog who would pay him regular visits. He always had time to chat and had a wonderful sense of humor. I will have many fond memories of him.
