Robert Eugene "Bob" Buckley

Robert E. "Bob" Buckley, of O'Fallon, MO, Fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Sunday, March 29, 2026. He was born on October 12, 1941, in St. Louis, MO to the late Robert H. and Evelyn Buckley (nee: Petralle.) He had reached the age of 84 years.

Bob was united in marriage to Mary Ann Buckley (nee: Banocy) on September 18, 1965, and spent 60 wonderful years together. Among this union, two daughters were born, Amy and Dana.

Bob was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving his country during Vietnam. He was a avid NASCAR fan and huge supporter of Rusty Wallace. Bob was a simple man, a hard worker, and a member of the United Steel Workers Union. He enjoyed working outdoors and maintaining a beautiful garden. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and was an especially good grandfather to his grandchildren. Spending time with his family is what meant the most to him.

Those who are grateful for having shared in Bob's life are his beloved wife, Mary Ann; his daughters, Amy (Dan) Bateman, and Dana (Jon Kite) Buckley; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Kyle, JP, and Jack. He was a beloved husband, loving father and grandfather, dear brother, uncle, cousin, and friend of many. His legacy and memory will be cherished for generations for come.

A visitation for Bob will be held from 4:00pm -8:00pm on Monday, April 6. 2026, with a 10:00am Funeral Service to be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles, MO 63304.

Interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations are appreciated to Wounded Warriors in honor of Bob.
