Robert A. Bulris

Robert A. Bulris, 74, of Duquette Road, Beekmantown, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023 at his home with family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh on March 25, 1949, the son of the late Homer and Martha (Hemingway) Bulris.
Robert was employed by Montgomery Ward for many years and later owned and operated Bob's One Stop Repair in Plattsburgh for many years. He enjoyed puttering and working on his old tractors.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years; JoAnn (Connors) Bulris, his children and their spouses; Kevin R. and Julie Bulris of West Chazy, Laurie Harrison and companion Samuel Seney of West Chazy, his stepdaughter; Nicole Eckert of North Carolina, a stepson; Matthew Eckert of Pennsylvania, his siblings and their spouses; Lois Bordeau of North Carolina, Ellsworth and Margie Bulris of North Carolina, Lawrence and Phyllis Bulris of West Chazy, Barbara and Steve Deyo of Altona, a sister in law: Doris Martino of Keeseville, his grandchildren; Katie and Troy Bulris of West Chazy, Hannah Harrison of West Chazy, Jessica Eckert, Dylan Eckert, Casey Eckert, all of Pennsylvania, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother Phillip Martino.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 3, 2023 from 12;00 to 2:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 3123 Miner Farm Road in Altona. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 3, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Holy Angels Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the North Country.
