Robert was born in Boston, Mass & raised in Dorchester. He was the proprietor of Robert Burleigh Mechanical for many years. Robert was a loving Son, Brother, Husband, Father & Friend. He was a US Coast Guard Veteran as well.
Nancy Burleigh, Robert's Wife was the love of his life for 50 years. They raised a loving family with 3 children, Jason, Justin & Taylor Burleigh. Robert was a beloved friend, pillar of his community & world traveled.
Friends and family are invited to an open house on Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 1 PM - 4 PM at 15 Blackmore Road in South Berwick, ME.

Bob was an amazing man. I always loved our conversations when he would come into Rick's. He will be truly missed by so many. My condolences to Nancy and his family.

We always enjoyed our visits with Robert. Every spring he would come and do yearly check up on the boiler he installed 20 years ago . Robert and I would always talk about Italy. He loved Italy and him knowing I was from that heritage he would always bring it up. When I needed him he was always there. We will truly miss him. Rest in peace !!!!

Such sad news to hear of Bob´s passing. We were all so hopeful for him to recover. Bob showed his character even when going through treatments which were extremely difficult by not making it about himself. He was in the moment with whomever he was with and interested to know that they were doing well. It was that generosity we admired and brought friendship. We´ve known Bob for ten or so years and that should have been just a beginning. Each visit or meeting with him was a pleasure which left us looking forward to seeing him again. He will be thought of often and missed.

Bob was a great guy to talk to. When I was younger he gave me some great advice and words of wisdom. As I got older we had some great conversations. I will missing talking to him and listening to all the stories he had. He was a great friend. He will be missed.
