Robert Dale Cable

Robert Dale Cable, age 90, of Buckhannon, WV, died Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at his home surrounded by family. He was born August 15, 1935, in Zackariah, KY, a son of the late Joseph and Margaret Birkhamer Cable. On November 25, 1995, he married Chulita Lynn Caynor who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Robert J. Cable and wife Jill of Bridgeport, WV, Kenny Cable and wife Brenda of Charlotte, NC, and Chris Cable and wife Vonda of Elkins, WV; one daughter, Teresa Martin and husband Paul of New Port, NC; two step-sons, Kurt Wagoner and wife Nicole and Scott Wagoner all of Buckhannon; one step-daughter, Mindi Principi and husband Kelly of Charlotte; one son-in-law, Tim Murphy of Barrickville, WV and sixteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three children, Darrell Cable, Tracy Cable, and Angela Murphy. Mr. Cable was a Drill Manager in the oil & gas industry. He attended the Sand Run Baptist Church and was a Mason, belonging to Franklin Lodge #7 A.F. & A.M. Robert loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In honoring Mr. Cable's wishes, he will be cremated.
