In Memoriam of Robert Cameron, MD,FACEP With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Cameron, MD, who departed this world on the 8th day of September, 2023, at his residence in Broomall, Pennsylvania. He was a loving father to Kyle and Ashley, a dedicated husband to Janice Cameron (nee Ginsburg), and a cherished patriarch to his entire family. Dr. Cameron, a distinguished physician, embodied values of exercise, humility, moderation, and self-reliance, which he imparted to all who knew him. His passions included chess, weight training, sports, and the comic book heroes of his youth. Dr. Cameron's remarkable career spanned over forty years, during which he saved countless lives as a physician. For more than a decade, he served as the Chairman of Emergency Medicine at Roxborough Memorial Hospital, where his leadership and expertise were instrumental in providing exceptional care to the community. Following his tenure at Roxborough, Dr. Cameron worked as a locum tenens physician throughout the nation, including during the challenging days of the COVID-19 crisis in struggling areas. His dedication to his profession and his patients was unwavering. Beyond his medical pursuits, Dr. Cameron had a deep love for animals. His dog, Elektra, was his faithful companion, never leaving his side and providing constant comfort and companionship. Dr. Robert Cameron, MD, leaves behind a legacy that will forever shine as a beacon of light in our hearts. In honor of his memory, we extend an invitation to all relatives and acquaintances to join us for services. These services shall take place on Monday, the 11th day of September, 2023, at Mt. Jacob Cemetery in Glenolden, Pennsylvania, at 11:00 AM. Following the service, the family will gather at Miller's Ale House to celebrate Dr. Cameron's life and the impact he had on us all. In lieu of flowers, we kindly request that contributions be made to a charitable cause of the donor's choosing.
