Robert D. Campbell III, of DeMotte, passed away at home on August 21, 2024.
On February 10th, 1974, Robert was born to Susan A. Webber and Robert D. Campbell Jr. in East Chicago, Indiana. A skilled tradesman, he has worked for Local 20 Sheet Metal Workers and Local 374 Boilermakers, reaching Journeyman status in both trades. Robert, or Dan as his friends and family call him, had a passion for hunting and fishing, especially with his friends and family.
Dan is survived by his children Brook and Briar Campbell, as well as his beloved dog Mac.
He is preceded in death by his mother Susan Ann Campbell, sister Jennifer Lynn Campbell, and great-grandmother Clara Campbell Bojda.
Per his wishes, Robert will be cremated.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 12:00 (noon) until 2:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, with a service at 2:00 p.m.
