Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hewett - Arney Funeral Home on Feb. 17, 2026.
Robert Jack Campbell passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 65. Bobby was born on February 7, 1961, in Santa Ana, California.

Bobby was a proud graduate of Texas A&M University and went on to serve his country in the United States Army for 20 years, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His military career was defined by steady leadership, discipline, and a strong sense of duty. Among his assignments, his time at Victoria Barracks in Sydney, Australia, remained especially meaningful to him and stood out as his favorite post.

Following his military service, Bobby continued his professional career with General Dynamics, where he spent 20 years as a Senior Projects Manager working with land systems, including the M1 Abram tank platform. In this role, he applied his extensive experience while building strong working relationships and lasting professional connections.

Bobby had a strong interest in travel and a lifelong enthusiasm for motorcycles. He especially enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether fly fishing, hunting, or being on the water, and valued the time spent playing baseball with his sons. He will be remembered as a great leader who was exceptionally intelligent, direct, tenderhearted, and steadfastly loyal.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 42 years and high school sweetheart, Tina Campbell; his sons, Wyatt Campbell (Marilyn) and Weston Campbell (Caitlyn); and his cherished granddaughters, Charlee and Ivy Campbell. He is also survived by his brother, Rodney Campbell (Patty), and their children, Nicole Speeding and Gus Campbell.

He is further survived by his in-laws, Ruby and Jerry Polston; his brother- and sister-in-law, Jerry and Sharla Zumwalt; and his niece, Shelby Zumwalt, and nephew, Cody Zumwalt.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Teddy Jack Campbell and Jeanette Campbell, and by his loving and supportive grandparents, Brinkley and Marie Campbell.

Bobby's life was marked by service, leadership, intellect, and loyalty. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his years of service to his country, and the lasting influence he had on those who knew him.
