Robert C. Campo passed away peacefully at the age of 79 after a 12-year battle with lung cancer, having been exposed to Agent Orange during his service time in Vietnam. Bob was in the United States Navy as a Seabee.
Bob was born on July 6, 1946, in Milwaukee, WI. Bob was a retired Master plumber and a member of the Plumbers Union. The two loves of Bob's life were his two dogs, Blear and Emma, who brought him much joy and comfort. His favorite thing to do was golfing - he went almost every day.
Bob was in a courtship with his wife, Melodee (Schley) Campo, for over 17 years before they were married in 2001.
Bob is survived by his wife, extended family, and many friends.
Per his wishes, no services will be held.
The family wishes to thank Rennes Health and Rehab Center, Weston, Inner Peace Caregiving, and Cornerstone Caregiving for helping care for Bob the last few years.
Memorials may be directed in Bob's honor to his favorite dog rescue organization, Bullies n Friends, S4492 Belter Rd, North Freedom, WI 53951 (608) 393-6843.
