Robert Wayne Celander passed away January 21, 2026, in Lubbock, Texas at the age of 82.
Robert was born July 25, 1943, in Baker, Montana to Harley and Josephine Celander; being the
Oldest of 6 siblings. Robert married Marilyn Huber on June 3, 1967, and was married
For a total of 58 years this past June 03, 2025.
A total of 40+- years combined with working in and around the oilfield Bob retired to the slow life
Of what is termed as piddling in between hunting, fishing, and shooting the bullsh** with
his friends he would go visit at Seminole Hot Oil Service or Cheryl’s Diner for his
Morning coffee and local gossip. Bob’s main sidekick was his dog Charlie; you could
see them driving down the street with Charlie hanging out the window at a slow slow trickle speed.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Harley and Josephine, brothers Ronald, Howard,
Johnny, and Dennis and sisters Marjorie and Barbara…and also preceded by one daughter-in-law
Annelle.
Robert is survived by his wife Marilyn, son’s Lance and Lane, & his daughter Lorrie (Zane)
Stenger of Billings Montana; along with grandkids and nieces and nephews
Bob will be buried at a later date in his family plot in Baker Montana
