Robert Charlton Obituary
He was born in Somerville, Sept 12, 1941 a son of the late John and Alice (Paul) Charlton and lived in Billerica before moving to Hobe Sound, FL and more recently back to Billerica. Bob loved his family, sitting in the sun, the thrill of slot machines, the daily newspaper and crossword puzzles, as well as following Boston sports teams.
Prior to his retirement Bob was a member of the Laborer's Union.
He is survived by one daughter Nicole Charlton and her husband Robert of Billerica; three sons, John Charlton and his wife Trang of Boylston, Edward Charlton and his wife Kristin of Mansfield and James Charlton and his wife Roxanne of Pepperell as well as nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren He was the father of the late Robert "Bobby" Charlton Jr. and former husband of the late Rochelle Ann (Montminy) Charlton.
A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Interment in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
