Yesterday
I had the privilege of working alongside Bob for five years, and in that time I came to know not just a colleague, but a genuinely kind and devoted man. No matter how busy the day, he would always find a moment to share stories about the people and things he loved most - especially his daughter and his wife, who were clearly the center of his world. He often spoke fondly of his late dogs, remembering them with a warmth that showed just how deeply he cared. And of course, there were the enthusiastic updates about his brother“s car, told with that unmistakable spark in his eye.
He even spent time making my mother a card when my father suddenly died, it was very sweet of him. He was a great support system during a terrible time.
Bob brought heart and humanity into the workplace. He reminded us that what matters most is the love we carry for our families and the stories we share about them. Though he had far too little time to enjoy his retirement, I truly hope those days were filled with the same love, laughter, and pride he so often spoke about. He deserved that time surrounded by the people and memories he cherished most.
My thoughts are with his family during this difficult time. He will be truly missed.
With love, Casey from Bloomington Acura Subaru
