Robert Christopher Cherry, 25, of Mt. Holly passed away on May 21, 2024 at his residence leaving behind a legacy of love and care. He was born on January 9, 1999, in Cleveland County, NC.

Robert was a kind-hearted individual whose primary goal was always to ensure the well being of his family. His hands were not only skilled in tinkering with cars but also in showing compassion and support to his loved ones. He found joy in playing video games and rocking out to his favorite tunes.

In the hearts of those who knew him, Robert will forever hold a special place. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Noel "Jack" Cherry; grandmother, Donna Jean Eury; uncle, Steve Cherry; and aunt, Theresa Huggins.

Those who will cherish his memory include his mother, Christy Eury Cherry; father, Noel "Hot Rod" Cherry and stepmother Rhonda; sisters, Noel and Chloe Cherry; brothers, Casey Rhinehart and Wyatt Craddock; maternal grandfather, Michael Eury; paternal grandmother, Dolores Taton; uncles, Paul Eury and Shaune Cherry. Robert also leaves behind his best friends Jacob Norris and Pacey Jackson, whom he considered as brothers from another mother along with numerous cousins and friends.

A visitation to honor Robert's life will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Benson Funeral & Cremation in Mt. Holly, NC from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM officiated by Rabbi Daniel Fox.

Robert's presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to shine brightly through the memories he created with all those fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace knowing that he was dearly loved by so many.
