WHITE HOUSE - Robert Edward Christian, age 80 of White House TN went home to be with the Lord Saturday, February 17, 2024 at his home.
He was born September 4, 1943 in Johnson City, TN to Ralph Edward and Laura Mae Young Christian. "Bob" was a long-time resident of Jonesborough, TN where he graduated from Jonesborough High School and attended ETSU.
He was a CNC machinist, programmer and machine operator. He worked until he retired from a machine shop owned and operated by Wilson McKee of Cross Plains, TN.
Bob was a 34-year member of The Church at Grace Park, White House, TN. He was a skilled craftsman and loved projects working with wood, landscaping and much more.
He was a faithful fan of NASCAR racing and attended as many races as possible.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren more than anything and loved picking fun at his daughters.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Grace Elizabeth Moore; and brother-in-law, Dale Moore.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Dana Juneil Christian, White House, TN; daughters, Elizabeth Anne (Wes) Crain, White House, TN and Lisa Juneil (Phil) Houston, Springfield, TN; brother, David Lyle (Sue) Christian, Jonesborough, TN; 2 grandchildren, Jared (Alex) Crain, White House, TN and Sydney Crain, Nashville, TN; 1 great-granddaughter "on the way" , Amelia Rose Crain, along with many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is planned for Friday, March 8, 2024 at 7pm at the chapel at Grace Park with Pastor Bob Cook officiating. Visitation is planned for Friday, March 8, 2024 5-7pm at the chapel. A private family inurnment will take place at the Hillcrest Cemetery Columbarium, White House, TN.
