I just found out in the flurry of Maj's passing. My heart is breaking. I am so glad I was able to kiss his cheek last year on Derby Day. I will miss Ciccone's this year. I remember the days when a group of us met there on Derby Day AND on Breeder's Cup day. One time, it was just me, Maj and Bob. The cable TV went out at the bar; so, we went over to Bob's and sat on the floor in the mud room area to watch the race! He always was so young at heart, with a smile and a twinkle in his eye.

Robert & Rochelle I am so sorry to learn of your dad's passing this past fall. I have many fond memories of my jukebox repair visits that always seemed to end after hours over a few glasses of scotch with Bob. He had so many great stories to share and advice to impart. He was a good man and a devoted father. I will miss him! Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help the family.

I just found out about Bob's death. I'm very sorry for your loss. I'm glad my friend and I stopped to see him at the bar in 2916. He was a great man and I happy to have worked for him.

Bob, as a kid, and through all the years, I always enjoyed coming to visit Ciccone's Bar and Restaurant. Me and all my family will dearly miss you. You were a great uncle, always very kind and giving, and caring. I pray our Lord has a great place in heaven for you, and your loving wife. Say "hi" to my wonderful Aunt Marge. Miss her, too.

I was shocked to hear of your passing. You were, by far, my most favorite retailer. I will miss the talks of Derby Day and the races but most of all I will miss you! Thank you for your kindness. Rest In Peace my friend.

I was introduced to the Ciccone family 67 years ago when I attended the services of your father who passed away on September 28, 1949 for Lita who was in the hospital giving birth to our son, Robert, the day your father died. We were treated like family from that time on. We will miss you Bob.
Love,
Lita and Al

I remember looking around the bar and jokingly saying to Bob, "Why don't you clear all the riff raff outta hear?" Bob looked around and answered "I'd be awful lonely then." We both had a good laugh.
You will be missed, Bobby.
