Robert Larry Lee Clagett, 82, of New Concord, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at OhioHealth Southeastern Medical Center.
Robert was born on September 1, 1943, in Zanesville, a son to the late Robert and Cincelle (Scott) Clagett.
Robert was a 1961 graduate of New Concord High School and a United States Army Veteran. Robert enjoyed farming, working in the oil fields, and hunting. He was an expert rifleman, a mechanic in the Army and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Wanda Abrams, Phyllis Slosky, and Shirley Allen, two brothers, Leslie Clagett and Neal Scott Clagett.
Robert is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A loving cremation will take place, with graveside service to be held at a later time at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
