Robert B. (Bob) Clay, Jr., 70, died at his home in Aurora, CO, on November 28. Born on February 8, 1954 in Monroe, LA, Bob grew up in Memphis, later moving to the Denver area, where he began his family and later retired. Always the life of the party, Bob had an unbridled sense of humor and managed to bring joy and laughter to even the most challenging circumstances. His love for family was remarkable, and he was the very surprised guest of honor at a sibling reunion in Denver in July, 2024. Besides family, Bob loved his feline companions, golfing with his son Bobby (RBC III), and being the proud grandfather of Robby (RBC IV). Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert B. Clay, Sr. and DeJuana Tackett, stepdad Robert L. Tackett, Sr., and his brothers, Scott Clay and Rob Clay, as well as grandparents and other beloved family members. Left to cherish his memory are his son Bobby Clay and grandson Robby, Carla Clay and daughter Brittany Allen, and his siblings Lydia Turner (Rick), Dee Dee Wike (Steve), Theresa Mangum (Fred), Robert Tackett, Jr. (Kathy), and Chuck Clay (Trish).
Memorial Service, Friday, February 7th at 10:00am at Eastern Hills Community Church, 25511 East Smokey Hill Road, Aurora, CO 80016
