Robert (Bob) Dale Coley (59), born on October 13, 1964, in Milwaukee, WI, passed away on June 3, 2024, in Stevens Point, WI. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and community member whose presence will be deeply missed. Bob was a devoted Christian and he strived to live his life through Christ.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Christian Life Fellowship in Port Edwards, WI. Following the service, a celebration of life will be held at White Sands Shelter House at Lake Wazeecha beginning at 2:30 PM where the family will greet friends and relatives.
Bob graduated from Menomonee Falls East High School and soon after began his long career at the Wisconsin Rapids mill. His 31 years of dedicated service there were marked by hard work and a strong work ethic that earned him the respect of everyone he worked with.
On November 30, 1985, Bob married the love of his life, his beautiful bride Cynthia Coley (Dankemeyer). Together, they raised four wonderful children: Matthew (Seryna) Coley, Alyssa Gollon, Emily (Ryan) Jardine, and Rachel Coley. Bob was a wonderful father who instilled in them to love life deeply and always seek adventure.
Bob was also a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren: Mila, Braxton, Cambri, Ellie, Dexter, Tavin, Melody, Zaylee, Oaklyn, and Ronan. He cherished every moment spent with them, whether it was attending their school events, teaching them how to clean his boat, or just pulling them around behind his lawn mower, he enjoyed watching them smile and laugh.
Bob is also survived by his siblings Rick (Diann) Pinter, Gary (Beth) Pinter, Dennis Pinter, and Linda (Rob) Feucht, his sister-in-law Elizabeth Dankemeyer, brother-in-law Steve Dankemeyer, mother-in-law Susan Langendorfer, as well as many nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Bobby.
Bob had a passion for sky skiing on Lake Wazeecha. Each year, he eagerly awaited the melting ice so he could return to the water, often being one of the first to brave the cold. He found immense joy in the simple pleasures of nature and the thrill of the sport.
In addition to his love for water sports, Bob was deeply involved in his community. For 20 years, he ran the Wisconsin Rapids wrestling website, dedicating countless hours to supporting and cheering on local wrestlers. His enthusiasm for the sport extended beyond the mat, as he traveled the state to attend matches, fostering friendships with fellow fans and becoming a well-known and beloved figure in the wrestling community.
Bob's adventurous spirit and his ability to find fun in every situation left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was known for his quick wit, warm smile, and the way he could make anyone feel welcome and valued. His life was a testament to living fully, loving deeply, and always seeking out the next great adventure.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruthie Coley, his father-in-law Duane Dankemeyer, and his sister Patricia Sharlow.
Bob's memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy of love, adventure, and community service will continue to inspire those who knew him.

I miss you, Little Bro Bobby. We are coming upon 1 year since you went Home to Heaven. Mom and Dad will be so happy to see you again. It is so comforting KNOWING that you are with Our Heavenly FATHER GOD, Our SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, Our COMFORTER and POWER HOLY SPIRIT. This is the Comfort that I get knowing that you in Heaven, Celebrating Every Day of your FOREVER LIFE along with the ANGLES!

After I kissed you, lots of tiny kisses, like mom used kiss us, Bobby, with a little smile, you said, "Holy Smokes." Make someone HAPPY who is suffering, even if they can't communicate with you.

Thank you God for giving me such a SWEET KIND LOVING LITTLE BROTHER.

I enjoyed Bob's company while in High school together and spending many countless hours playing sheeps head card game in study hall in the cafeteria. Bob was a good friend and he will be missed. Friends on facebook it does look like he did enjoy life.

I worked with Bob for a couple of years until the Rapids mill closed. I enjoyed talking with Bob at work and watching his water skiing videos. My thoughts and prayers are with the Coley family.
