Robert Condrey

Robert (Bob) Condrey, 68, of Valdosta, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Fellowship Home Brookside. He was born on October 22, 1954 in Warner Robins, GA, to the late Robert L. Condrey and Mary Ellen Smith Condrey. Mr. Condrey was a volunteer firefighter for Lowndes County for 20 years, and he also worked as a project manager for 45 years at Brooks Welding. He loved to work on his small farm, tinkering with anything. He served on the security team at Northside Baptist Church where he was a member. An avid corvette enthusiast, he was a member of the National Corvette Restorers Society.
Mr. Condrey is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jeffrey Condrey, of Valdosta; daughter and son-in-law, Alison and Larry Tanner, of Callahan, FL; son and daughter-in-law, John and Brandy Fischbach, of Valdosta; son, Eric Condrey, of Valdosta; grandchildren, Zane, Brandon, Christian, and Aaron; great grandchild, Wesson Lyle Condrey; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and James Jordan, Melinda and Ronnie Thomas, of Valdosta; nieces Shara Bailey and Lori Back; nephew Jonathan Thomas; and other relatives also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with Dr. Robby Foster officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
