Born on February 20, 1951, Bobby was the beloved son of Mary and Hudson (Gus) Conklin. He was raised in Stony Point and educated at Immaculate Conception School and Haverstraw High School, Class of 1968. Bobby dedicated over 44 years of service as a supervising line chief with Orange and Rockland Utilities. He was a Life Member of the Haverstraw Elks Lodge 877.
In 1974, Bobby married Mary Jeanne Feeney in St. Peter's Church, Haverstraw. Together, they built a loving home and family and shared more than five decades of marriage.
Bobby was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Mary Algozzino. He is survived by his devoted wife Mary Jeanne, his daughter Kelly and son-in-law Chuck (McCafferty), his sons Robert and Patrick, and daughter-in-law Kristin. He is also survived by his three granddaughters Madeline McCafferty, and Ava and Emily Conklin.
Bobby was known all over the county for his genuine love of life, friends and family. He especially enjoyed his Sunday morning breakfast with his lifelong friends and was never one to miss an opportunity to help someone. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 4pm-8pm and Friday October 24, 2025 from 3-8 at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home in 133 Broadway in Haverstraw, Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday October 25, 2025 12:45pm at St. Peters Church, 115 Broadway, Haverstraw, NY 10927

I have know Bobby since our days at Immaculate Conception School and all the way to high school. We played together on the St Gregory CYO basketball team and as many have all ready said there aren't many guys like him. The good times that we shared are the memories that I will keep.
Friends like Bobby don't come along very often and I am grateful that I was lucky enough to know him as a classmate, team mate and yes a caring and generous friend.
My thought and prayers are with his family and may God bless them and bring them some comfort during this trying time.

You all have my sincerest and deepest sympathy on the loss of your beloved husband, Bobby, and your beloved dad and granddad
When I received the call late Monday night, I could hardly believe what I was hearing, what a loss to our community and world, such a kind and generous man. I could still see him with a smile in the O&R truck during the storms, always helping others either in his job or personal life.Their are not many like Bobby anymore. I´m sure the gates are open in heaven, awaiting his arrival.You are a wonderful family. May you find comfort in each other in the days ahead
