Robert Conowall

Robert Conowall, age 94, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on January 15, 2026.

Raised in Philadelphia, PA, Robert resided there until moving to Mays Landing in 2002, eventually settling in Williamstown. Robert was a proud US Air Force Veteran, serving in the Strategic Air Command during the Korean War. He later worked as a Draftsman for the City of Philadelphia for many years before retiring.

He enjoyed traveling, reading, and was an avid fan of aviation. Above all, Robert was devoted to his family; he lovingly cherished his wife, children and grandchildren.

Beloved husband of the late Josephine Conowall (nee Rufo). Devoted father of Robert Conowall, Jr. (Diana) and Judith Ziegler (Glenn). Loving grandfather of Desiree, Tyler, Kiersten, and Debra. He was predeceased by his siblings Anne, Esther, Martha, Joseph, Walter, Samuel, and David. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday, January 22nd from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
