Robert "Bob" H. Cook Jr., 61, of Mims, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Bob was born on December 31, 1963, in Akron, Ohio. Bob was an all-around athlete growing up; he played baseball and football all through school and went to ABAC Agricultural College on baseball scholarship where he exceled in his knowledge of horticulture.

He was a huge fan of the Florida Gators, Detroit Lions and the Tampa Bay Bucs. He loved old cars, old trucks and NASCAR. One of his favorite jobs was working outside on the golf course and taking care of the landscape at Liberty Lodge. He also worked at Synergy Metal Finishings, now called Incertec Metal Coating Solutions.

Throughout his life, Bob faced many personal challenges and with his family and friends, we celebrated his victories. His family and friends were always a source of strength & comfort, and he was deeply grateful for their unwavering love. He will always be remembered for his quiet kindness, his love for the simple things in life, and all the funny memes he would send his family and friends.

Bob is preceded in passing by his dad Robert Sr. and his mom Judith Smith. He will be greatly missed by his Stepdad Charles Smith, Sisters Lori (Gary) Voelkel, Linda (Tim) Romine, Step-sisters Kasha (Mark) Harrell, Karis (Russ) Willis, Step-brother Jason Smith, Uncle Don Brenner, several cousins, nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Bob on Saturday, October 18th at Christ Central Church, 4235 Mount Sterling Ave, Titusville, FL 32780 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flower donations can be made to Liberty Lodge Ministries 4150 Mt Sterling Ave, Titusville, FL 32780 in memory of Bob.
