Robert Louis Cook, Age 83, of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully at home on December 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born June 24, 1942, in Minneapolis, Bob was raised in South Minneapolis in the Annunciation parish. He was deeply devoted to his wife of more than 60 years, Mimi (Mary) Cook. He was a loving father to Tom Cook, Colleen Cook (deceased), Megan Cook (deceased), and Molly Cook; and a proud grandfather to Kiara Madison-Cook (deceased), Diego Juarez, and Finn Jensen.
Bob worked as a software engineer early in his career, traveling internationally to install and maintain mainframe computers. In retirement, he found great joy as a school bus driver for Edina Public Schools. He enjoyed genealogy, puzzles, time at his cabin, cooking for family, tending plants, and completing the daily crossword.
Memorial service Friday, January 9, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Church of St. Peter, 1405 Sibley Memorial Hwy, St. Paul, MN. Visitation one hour prior. He will be fondly remembered.
