Robert Lee Corum, 77, of Reidsville, passed away peacefully at his home with the love of his life Angela.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, April 4th, 2025, at Wilkerson Funeral Home, with Pastor David Grinnell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A graveside committal will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens.
Robert worked at Moses Cone in Greensboro, as a security officer for 31 years, where he was employee of the year in 1994. He later retired and worked for Quest Diagnostics for 15 years. He loved all dogs, rescuing 2 German shepherds and a Boxer mix. He loved Christmas and all the things that came with it. Robert was a creative woodworker, even having a bird house business, Home Tweet Homes. Gardening in the spring and summer were particularly enjoyable for Bob. He and his wife Angela enjoyed many trips to his favorite place, the Blue Ridge Mountains. Bob also enjoyed the coastal lighthouses, of which he climbed the Cape Hatteras light house on his 70th Birthday.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mattie Corum, his sister, Vickie Dale Corum, and brother, William Jackson Corum.
Bob is survived by his wife of 37 years, Angela Corum; sister, Ruby Lee Williams; nieces, Charlene Michaux, Wanda Priddy, and Anna Cruz, his sister-in-law; Amy Davis (George), brother-in-law; Mark Yarbrough. Along with a large group of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rockingham County Animal shelter at 250 Cherokee Camp Road, Reidsville, NC 27320.
